MEET LOUISE

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences?

Hi, my name is Louise De Schepper! Driven, loyal and spontaneous are words that describe me well.

In June 2022 I graduated from the University of Antwerp and became the proud owner of a Business Administration degree. With this I have challenged myself in the various fields that the economic spectrum has to offer.

Since sitting still is not really in my nature, I started looking for a job immediately after my studies and with success. As of August 2022 I could call myself a Digital Business Consultant, aka a real Dotter ;-)

What led you to the Dot Society?

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been very interested in fashion. Making fashion magazines, organizing fashion shows with friends, going shopping with my mom, … were definitely my favorite activities. In recent years, this has only expanded with interest in food, travel and lifestyle. My collection of saved photos on Instagram and Tiktok are the telling proof of this. ;-) I always dreamed of combining my love for fashion, food and lifestyle in my professional career.

When I saw the vacancy on Linkedin, I was immediately sold. In NO TIME I had made a CV and motivation letter. I was immediately invited for an interview and two weeks later I received the fantastic news that I was accepted.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I am not working, 99% of the time I am with my friends and family. Cooking with them, having a long dinner, going to a bar, … is definitely what I like doing most. The more people around me, the better. However, there is also 1 percent in me that craves for some me-time now and then, especially after a long day at work. In that case, I usually choose to lie down in the sofa with a blanket and lots of chocolate and enjoy a good rom com.

How do you prefer to start your day?

My close circle will immediately agree that I am not really a morning person, certainly not when I have to get up early. Therefore I prefer to start my day quietly. A very long shower and a strong coffee does wonders ;-) Next, I love a good schedule, so I can start the day with a clear head.

Favorite quote?

“If you think you’re too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito.” A wise life lesson that was made clear in our family from an early age. Never assume that something won’t work out for you or you can’t make a difference. But always try to make your dreams come true by working really hard for something. A mindset that will always take you far.
