Collecting leads while telling a strong brand story? That’s exactly what we did last autumn for Collectors Club, a Belgian fashion label. The goal? Expand the database to gain more insight into interested customers and then approach them more specifically and personally. Our solution? A smart and well-thought-out lead generation campaign, coupled with an attractive giveaway.
The power of a hero product
To collect leads, we linked the campaign to a giveaway of one of Collectors Club’s hero products: the Jakarta Jacket. From previous data and analysis, we knew that this eye-catcher is the perfect entry product for new customers to the brand.
The approach: an integrated strategy
We set up a multi-channel strategy where different touchpoints worked together to maximize lead generation:
- Meta Lead form – We launched a lead ad on Meta, where users could easily leave their details without leaving the app. This ensured a low barrier to entry and a high conversion rate.
- Seamless email integration – All leads were automatically synchronized with Klaviyo, the email marketing platform. This put the data directly into an automated flow, with participants receiving a personalized email with more information about the promotion and the Jakarta Jacket.
- Dedicated landing page – In addition to the Meta Lead Ads, we created a separate landing page on the website, where visitors could register for the promotion. This provided extra visibility and an additional channel for sign-ups. This link was also used through organic social media channels to give the current customer base a chance to participate in the giveaway as well.
- Optimized pop-ups – Pop-ups were also adapted on the website to give extra prominence to the promotion. This ensured that existing website visitors were also incentivized to participate.
The result?
The campaign not only generated valuable leads but also gave Collectors Club the chance to get to know their target audience better. With the data collected, the brand was able to communicate in a more targeted way and follow up with potential customers personally, which contributed to stronger customer loyalty and ultimately more conversions.
By communicating the same message on different platforms – organic social media, Meta Ads, and the website – we achieved great results. With a limited media budget of just €133, we collected 475 (!) leads, including 343 new people
who were able to learn about Collectors Club and who, through the automated flows, are now part of the online community. Moreover, the Jakarta Jacket was completely sold out the week after the promotion.
A successful case that demonstrates how a strategically designed lead campaign not only generates new contacts but also contributes to brand awareness, engagement & direct sales.
