GOFLUO – the story

GOFLUO stands as a beacon in the realm of urban reflective fashion and accessories—a distinguished brand that you might have encountered while traversing the streets of Antwerp, Berlin, or even the sidewalks of New York.

Founded by Julie Vets in 2016, GOFLUO has blossomed into an international sensation, boasting over 300 vendors across 10 countries and a thriving online webshop. 

Just as innovative as their products, GOFLUO’s essence is ingrained in the DNA of the company culture. With an eye toward investing in the customers of tomorrow, GOFLUO embarked on its TikTok journey in 2022 under the guidance of The Dot Society.

Strategic Evolution:

Starting from humble beginnings, initial TikTok results were less promising. However, each setback served as a lesson, guiding us away from ineffective strategies (detailed insight provided in the full case study below). 

Today, our perseverance has brought us to this point. With a strategic approach to crafting content aligned with the brand identity, TikTok has seamlessly integrated into GOFLUO’s internal culture. Having honed our organic strategy and gained insight into effective content, GOFLUO ventured into advertising on the platform. The objective: bolster brand awareness and tap into new target audiences across core markets.

Achieved milestones: 

  • Organic posts consistently score up to 1000 views, with 50+ likes and 10 saves. 
  • TikTok’s CPMs are lower than €1, very interesting channel for us as a brand in terms of brand awareness. 
  • Impressive CTR’s of +1,5%, prove we are reaching the right audience with a low cost per click of <€0,20 (even in cold audiences!). If we compare this with META, we see cost per clicks of €0,4 on average and on google this can go up to €0,6 (to reach new audiences and depending on your product/competition).
  • In just 3 months, we turned interactions into conversions in Belgium.
