MEET CAITLYN

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences

Hi, I’m Cait, Digital Business Consultant at The Dot. After my studies in Applied Economics, I started my career in the world of denim at Kontoor Brands. As a forecasting specialist, I discovered that my interest went beyond data alone – I wanted to understand processes, improve them, and truly make an impact. That drive for growth and change led me to The Dot. Here, I can combine my analytical perspective with strategic thinking and collaborate on projects with incredibly inspiring clients within the industry of fashion, lifestyle and beauty :)

How do you prefer to start your day?

I’m trying to break the habit, but that snoozing is still a guilty pleasure. Before I go to sleep, I go over my schedule so I know how long I can snooze in bed. Once up and ready, during the week I enjoy a bike ride to work with some music in my ears while on weekends I like to start the day with a morning run.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love spending time with my family and friends. I am always down to eat/drink together, play fun games, go out, exercise, chill (!), … . But does that social battery need some recharging? Then a long walk with the dog always does wonders :)

THIS or THAT?

Ultimate feel good song?

Dreams from Fleetwood Mac. I always think of Nathan Apodaca cruising on his skateboard while drinking his cranberry juice and it’s giving carefree, happy vibes.

Greatest life lesson someone ever told you?

One of my brothers gave me a Rubik’s Cube for my Bday with a note that said, “Let life unravel this mystery and get ready for something grand.” Turns out I had to solve it to get my actual gift haha! But the quote stuck with me. It reminds me that sometimes you just have to go with the flow, figure things out as you go, and trust that something great is waiting for you.
