MEET JULIE

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences.

I’m Julie, working as an Art Director at the Dot Society. I have eight years of agency experience and love to work with a team and people around me. I have a passion for textile design and in my spare time I create fabrics on an old loom in a small studio.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

A clean desk! Structure and cleaness around on my desk and in my office space, means calmness and headspace, ready for a productive session.

THIS or THAT?

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love weaving and creating my textile designs, this is some kind of a mindful yoga-ish thing for me. Next to that I love to do kitesurfing, snowboarding, running and sometimes road cycling. But most of my weekends I spend time with my soulmate and partner Sven and his amazing son Bill.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to do something in the fashion or design industry. Guess I ended up in the perfect place here at the Dot Society.

Greatest life lesson someone ever told you?

Just try to be yourself from the beginning and do your ultimate best. Eventually it will be enough and you could never blame yourself of not trying hard enough.
