MEET YENTE

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences?

Hi, my name is Yente! I’m driven, caring, curious, and genuinely convinced that understanding why people do what they do is one of life’s most interesting puzzles. After completing my bachelor’s in Communication Management, I continued with a master’s in Business Communications, where my fascination with consumer behavior deepened. I’m drawn to the world of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty; especially where strategy, consumer psychology and creativity come together to create something that moves people. Today, I channel this passion in my role as a Junior Marketing Automation Specialist at The Dot Society. I’m excited to contribute, learn, and keep growing in a field that truly inspires me.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Starting the day with a bike ride! That’s an instant energy boost (when the Belgian weather decides to cooperate). Once I’m at the office, It’s time for a structured to-do list. There’s something deeply satisfying about turning a day full of varying tasks into a clear plan, and even better, crossing things off one by one.

THIS or THAT?

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Spending time with loved ones, ideally over a few drinks and good food. You’ll often find me exploring a new coffee bar or restaurant in Antwerp or Brussels, two cities that never seem to run out of good options. I also like to stay active, whether that’s going for a run, taking a walk with my dog or hitting the gym.

And then there’s travel. I have a soft spot for Asia in particular, and try to get there every other year. I’m very much a planner, so naturally the trip preparation is half the fun.

Ultimate feel-good song?

Hard to pick just one, but ‘Voyage Voyage’ from Kate Ryan instantly takes me back to the festival season; jumping around together with a big smile on my face. Works every time.

Must-read book?

Hooked by Nir Eyal. A book about how brands build habits and keep people coming back. If you’ve read my intro, you’ll understand why this was basically written for me.
