Meet The Team

Meet The Team: Cato Vandervorst

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences?

Hi! My name is Cato, and I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, driven, and optimistic young lady. While starting as an intern in October I was able to enhance my digital marketing skills to the fullest. As of last week, I can call myself a Digital Business Consultant aka a real Dotter ;)) Thanks to my master’s degree in Business Economics I also had the chance to develop my analytical skills which come in handy when diving into the data of our clients. As the newest member of The Dot team, I am very excited to be part of our client’s digital marketing journey and grow digital together!

What do you like about working at The Dot Society?

The passionate, ambitious, and fun team at The Dot Society is one of the many factors why I like working here. It is a close team of young power women working towards the same goal and helping each other wherever they can along the way. After all, teamwork makes the dream work and this is what The Dot Society is all about.

Another great part of working for The Dot Society is the variation of my tasks which means that a day at the office is never quite the same!

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

During my car ride home I shamelessly sing along to my favourite songs, luckily no audience included :)) Besides my carpool karaoke I also enjoy going for a run/doing a home workout when I am feeling sporty. Afterwards, I get ready for a chill night on the couch watching a good Netflix series or reading a book.

Favourite quote?

“The life in front of you is more important than the life behind you” Sometimes people tend to focus too much on the past even though you can’t change anything about things that already happened. I often have to remind myself to stop worrying about the past and focus on the future and the now and enjoy the ride of life.

When I am not working you will probably meet me here…

99% chance you will find me spending time with my friends or family when I am not working. Having a nice (sushi) diner, cozy drinks, or playing Rummikub/UNO with them is the ultimate way to relax for me.
