MEET MARGUERITE

Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences?

Heyhey, my name is Marguerite De Winter. I would describe myself as a driven and curious person with a healthy dose of time management. Once I sink my teeth into something, I don’t let go easily ;-).
Before joining The Dot Society, I obtained my Master’s degree in Business Communication in Leuven, followed by a Ba-na-ba in Event Management. During my first job experience at DPG Media, I got to know my passion for ‘all things digital’. This in combination with my love for fashion, lifestyle and interior design made me start here.

What led you to the Dot Society?

The attitude and way of working immediately appealed to me. A close-knit team of enthusiastic and young women, working together towards a common goal. I certainly won’t hide the fact that I kept a very close eye on vacancies. When I saw an open position, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Very grateful that I did , because now I can call myself a real Dotter.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Chances are high that you will find me in one of these two scenarios. On the one hand, you can always call me for an ‘after work run’; on the other, you may do the same for an ‘after work’, without mentioning the sports thing. The ideal scenario? My best friends, a beaming sun and a glass of cava (or two) in hand.

THIS or THAT?

How do you prefer to start your day?

After turning over in bed a few times, I prefer to start my morning with a strong coffee/matcha. With my mug in one hand and to-do list in the other, I get myself ready for the day. As an avid planner, this brings peace to that busy little head of mine ;-).

Favorite quote?

‘Fortune favors the Bold’, or; he who does not dare, does not win. As an adrenaline junkie, I am always looking for new challenges, which requires the necessary dose of guts!
