Introduce yourself and what you do in a few sentences?

Hi there, I’m Kato. My path was hijacked by the creative world at an early age. I’m always busy designing, creating, doing business, or something else! In recent years, I used my time to turn my knowledge into experience by working as a freelance graphic designer and content creator. These days, I strengthen The Dot’s creative team with my knowledge and skills in the graphic and digital world.
I am a perfectionist, go-getter and hard worker. My design aesthetic can be described with the words simplicity, warm, personal, clean and playful. Every person or assignment, in my opinion, has a unique and beautiful side. Therefore, my higher goal is to bring out that added value in each project based on appropriate elaboration.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Lists, lists, lists! When I have a lot to do, I make lists, divided into prio’s… seeing everything visually in front of me and being able to check everything off afterwards, that motivates me! What also always helps me a lot is planning a fun and relaxing activity at the end of the day so I have something to look forward to!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy social activities the most when they are accompanied by good music. That’s why you’ll usually find me at a concert or on a terrace in the sun. I also enjoy dining in the many restaurants that Antwerp has to offer as well as having family and friends over and hosting a dinner party for them! I’m a busy bee, so if it’s not one of the above activities I’m most likely somewhere else busy creating content, graphics or doing some other fun relaxing activities!!

What led you to The Dot Society?

The team of women entrepreneurs, the appearance and the knowledge. I am an entrepreneurial, creative and eager to learn and saw all these things reflected in the company. The field in which The Dot’s expertise lies (lifestyle, fashion, food and beverages, interior and beauty), the variety of projects and the channels they work with were and are also very attractive to me. When a position in the creative team became available I didn’t hesitate! That what brought me to The Dot, I hope to develop even further within the team myself.
